Vakkil Genie ("we", "us") is built for Indian advocates to manage court case information. We are committed to handling your data, and your clients' data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Where your data lives
Case data you enter is stored in a Google Sheet created in your own Google Drive account. We do not host or retain a copy of your case data, your clients' names, phone numbers, or any other client data on our servers.
Google OAuth scope
When you sign in with Google, Vakkil Genie requests access limited to the Google Sheets and Google Drive scopes required to create and update your case sheet. We do not request access to your Gmail, Contacts, or any other Google service.
No third-party sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your clients' data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data Vakkil Genie processes on your behalf. Since case data lives in your own Google Drive, you retain full control and can delete it at any time directly from Google Sheets.
